Sammy was a blue point Siamese. One day, I was in a video store with a friend of mine, when my friend disappeared, and then reappeared calling to me. She took me next door, to the local pet store, where I found Sammy. He was a feisty little kitten who had the biggest meow! I tried to leave him there, but turned around and came back to get him.
He lived to be eighteen and one-half years old, and died peacefully as dictated his age. He especially loved his morning breakfast and dinner, and meowed loudly to be fed, even at the end. He loved to curl up in my lap, and be held by Joel.
We'll see you again at Rainbow Bridge, Sammy. We love you lots.
